Moving on..to a less serious matter as requested.
Where's a good road for a blast this week-end for a newly liberated 1000 miler?
Please don't mention France. I agree, but I mean UK.
Cheers. Chris

I quite like some bits the A5. The old Watling Street bits North of M.K. past Silverstone and up to Rugby are all pretty regular zones for me. Can't really help you down your way though !!

Chris, there's a meeting at Santa Pod this on Sunday, and for £25 you can run your new 1000 miler up the strip!

I'm near Bristol.
I'm just off to deliver my employees pay cheque. By mail. No chance!
Noblemail! It will get there VERY quickly 70mph, of course.

Chris,

Don't know anywhere right on your doorstep, but in Dorset, the road that leads from West Bay to Weymouth (the coast road, not the main trunk route) is cracking. Shouldn't be too much traffic at this time of year, either.

When I was a journo, we used to use the Craven Arms to Newtown road in Powys for handling tests. There are few better roads than this!

Up in Leicestershire (miles away, I know..) one of my favourite roads in the Noble is the 606 from Market Harborough to Melton Mowbray. Bikers love it, which is usually a pretty good indicator!

Hope you get the chance to try one or all of them sometime.

Danny,
It'll be good to meet up some time. I think this week-end will, on reflection, be busy workwise, so I'll leave it for now.
Simon,
The next time I'm near mid Wales I'll take you up on your suggestion. Blue or Red!!
