To 3R owners:
I was wondering what the general condition was of your 3R road wheels as, in general, I'm finding the finish poor (and at c. £500 each!). At only a month old one of mine is showing a corrosion mark!
You have to keep on top of cleaning and use plenty of wax to prevent corrosion, when me tyres go i'm gona get them done how i want them to stay, basically refurbed at a place local to me and all he does is wheel refurbishment and guaranteed to stay good.
A friend of mine with a 911 swears by using turtle wax car shampoo on his car's bodywork and rims. I must say, they do look brand new all the time.
I took his tip and use them on my 340R - great results......
