DC Go

New styling for Noble M12!

Indian design company DC Design have taken one of the most successful new sports cars in recent years and slapped a new body on it to showcase their skills.

Underneat the DC 'Go' is a Noble M12! On top of that they've put a body which they claim is "Very sharp - a mix between classic cues and fresh angles." The interior gets a makeover too with a geometric minimalism covered in Alacantra .

It's an interesting idea. In days of old coachbuilders would put all manner of different body styles atop manufacturers' chassis. The monocoque design with integral chassis put an end to much of their work but cars such as the Noble with their space frame chassis once again provide an opportunity for real individualism. Whether you like the style or not, the idea is sound...

If it ain't broke, don't lob an ugly body on it.

Hope they kept the Noble shell

A nice job but looks too "me-too Japanese" - like a 350Z!

At least it gets rid of the Noble's "Noddy's car in a bad mood" front end!

I don't think it looks that bad

Don't like spoilers and stuff usually, makes you look a bit like a Max Muppet, but this looks like somethings fell off the back. A bit like a MkII MR2 without the spoiler. Perhaps a small and tasteful lip

The front's too wide but other than that I love it.

I can see hints of murkylager, TT, RX8 a few other touches. In other words a mismash of styles that really doesn't appeal to me. At all. Front lights look out of proportion, rears look far too 'bling' and front end just looks odd.

Quite like it although a few things are grim (the way the lights dangle, and the rear side quarter panel). Definitely an improvement in looks though. Wonder how it affects the cars dynamics

I think that is an excellent effort.

It would be nice if there were lots of options for coach building..

It would be quite an idea to get some of the Italian stying houses to design a M12!

Very interesting idea. Looks too Japanese though. I think they've tried to go for a Gallardo supercar style design but it hasn't quite worked. Got potential, looks much less kit-car than the Noble, that's for sure!!!

Hmmm. Not good too many conflicting ideas and no cohesion. There's simply no style to it...

Not perfect, but an improvement on the Noble's rather 'home made' styling.
