It's no London Taxi - but you get used to positioning the car in the correct place to make the turn.

Joust is right - you get used to it. Nevertheless it is my biggest gripe about my car. Second biggest, though for necessary reasons, is the amount of ground clearance. But I knew this before I bought it.

... agreed, and my third gripe (although easily fixed) is the "Noddy-horn"!

one more very simple fix

Is the absense of any means to lock the car from the inside.... bit un-nerveing driving £50k's worth of high profile car around some of the less savoury areas in this day and age

Mustard

That's a great point as I am thinking of buying a 3R and garaging it in London. It should have an open close button fitted internally, it has mondeo door handles i've been told and what's all this about the dodgy horn AMG? ? So I will have to avoid Shepherds Bush at night when I am returning from the country late at night!

Both simple items, easily recified by any good dealer, but would be nice if Noble could attend to these minor items

You can lock the doors from the inside - just press the key fob once whilst inside the car.

Better still call AutoWatch and they'll tell you how to reprogam the alarm for auto door locking on start-up!

Yep, I was once car-mugged in slow moving traffic AND the doors were locked - the muppett smashed my XJS window and took the phone off the seat hence why I'm reprogramming the M12 alarm!!!

Could you please post the details of how to do this once you find out?

Although I have the X5 autolocking, I've never bothered with the M12.

It's not really a very nickable car. It's rare (which scroats hate not only for passing on, but also not paying attention) and has no "autotrader" market whatsoever.

Just drive near X5's, ML's, S, E, 3 or 5 series and you'll be fine

Justin, the point was to avoid car-jacking!

That's my point! The Noble isn't a high "target" for scroats

The occupants are obviously of some wealth though, unless it happens to be me borrowing one!

Exactly Mr. Mustard, we stick out like sore thumbs and assuming that the Scroat unit doesn't have a bad back and mind bending down so low - we are all targets for theft from, as opposed to "of", the vehicle!

Well, let's hope not anyway - a good imprint of a 265 on their leg should do the trick!!! LOL

It isn't a problem, for 3 point turn think 5, not an issue in everyday driving.
