How many miles has you car covered.

I sold my 2.5 recently for a 3R. On the part x
issue I was told by one dealer that at 12000
my car was a high milage vehicle.

Am I the only one to actually drive my car

Almost 5,000 since October.

What's the point of having a car an not use it!?

About 1000 per month.

As for worry about residuals - if you want the highest just stick the car in your front room and "coo" at it whilst stroking it with a chamis leather!

Cars are for driving, not "investing" in!

I agree totally, I have no intention of spending my hard earned cash on something to coo at. Its to be driven.

From a buyers point however which one would you buy
a 2.5 with 2500 or 12000 on the clock

If you happen to be one of those with a really low mileage car, explain to me how you manage it. I have to get my car out frequently, how do you resist the fix!!

I'd buy the one in the best condition as long as they both had FNSH. One might have done 2,500 track miles, the other 12,000 gentle road miles.

Hence a good investment is probably a new front clam respray close to sell-time. Only £300.
