What is the new M400 ?
Discussion
I have been reading the noble owners members site and there is a lot of talk about the new M400.From what I have read the car will no longer be a stripped out 3R but a 3R with a different suspension set up and 420/430 BHP (400 BHP per tonne). The question is how much more will it cost?I think some clarification should be made as I am sure there are prospective buyers like myself who do not know what to do now but just wait until the motor show in May.I think a representative from Noble should make a statement now to clarify this matter. I don't mind not knowing the performance figures but at least a description of what the car is and the price.I can't see the point from holding this information on this site and then leaking it to somebody who went for a factory visit, not very professional in my opinion.

MadMax (and anyone else interested in the M400),
Noble is unable to stop rumours circulating about the M400. I posted some information about this model late last year and, to date, we have had nothing to add to it.
The M400 IS NOT an upgraded 3R, and we will not be offering an aftermarket kit for 3R owners to spec their cars up to a similar standard. This model will stand alone from the 3R in the M12 range and will be aimed at the track day market. It will have in excess of 400bhp, will have many changes to the suspension and tyres and will also incorporate various engineering features which will clearly set it apart from the 3R. It will still share the same body and platform as other M12s, but it will have a very different feel on the road and track.
We have not set a price or exact spec on the car yet, but we will be launching the car to the national motoring press before this year's Motor Show Live. When we do - and not before - we shall post an official release on this and other related forums so that owners and prospective owners will have access to the information.
Noble is keen to let everyone here know about the M400, but we are also under no obligation to offer information until we are fully ready. Please be patient and refrain from speculating: misinformation is damaging.
Thanks for your co-operation.

To Simon Hucknall .Press Officer.
Thank you Simon for your reply and for clarifying the situation.I do appreciate you are unable to control all of the rumours that are posted on this forum.
I wish the launch of the GTC and the M400 all the best success that they deserve as I think the Noble badge is going from strength to strength.
