Colour combo's
Discussion
What do people feel is the best paint colour for the Noble? And what interior colour to go with it. I am having real trouble deciding.
Never had this amount of trouble before. Perhaps its because you can have whatever colour you like?
Considering the sand grey leather????

Darren

ooops. I thought you could have meant that.
Considering possibly azure blue (not sure about interior trim colour)
Maybe Indigo blue (not sure about interior trim colour)
Possibly Burgandy red metallic with sand grey leather, also considering Monza red with sand grey leather.

would avoid the burgundy red met.... areana red met. on Porsche is bad news, and I think it will have a similar effect on a Noble.
Lot of interest in Monza Red at the moment, but would that have anything to do with Nobles current factory demo
Azure blue with silver grey leather would be a good combo, or maybe black or magnolia(always worked well on Esprits)
cant comment on the other blue you mention

Hey Justin,
What colour combo are you thinking of choosing for your GTC ? Something wild or conservative ?
Cheers,
Ian.
Hi guys,
Jousts indigo Blue does look smart, I copied all his pictures onto my PC from his website ages ago and I must have viewed them a million times. Joust, it still looks great.
The M12 looks wicked in black as it conceals the black door handles, window surrounds etc. It also shows of the shiny Spoiler Mountings, Clam shell closure screws etc. I always thought the TVR Tuscan in Moonraker Black with Black leather looked awesome, very mean and 'batmobile' like....
I saw a brand new 3R in the solid Red (Monza Red I think) with Sand colured Leather in Gordan Lambs in Sheffield. They had just taken delivery of it, valeted it and put it in the showroom. I must admit it looked absolutely amazing. I didn't think it would look so good in solid red, I thought it would 'cheapen' it.... No fears though, it look fabulous... Not suprising though that the combo worked so well, as it must be a certain italian supercar manufacturers most popular colour combination !!!
I also think Titanium Silver with Black and Burgundy leather looks great. The interior looks classy, sporty and a lot less gaudy then Red, or Red and Black. Titanium Siver also does a good job of showing of the curved surfaces and intricate details due to the way it catches and reflect the light. It also has far more depth and interest than plain silver which can look dull in flat light, and also conceals surface details due to reflecting the light.
If it's not to far take a trip to Gordan Lambs in Sheffield for a look at the Red 3R... Gorgeous!!
I nearly bought there azure blue M12 GTO 2.5 demonstrator last year which was nice, but decided against it....
I returned last weekend to have a look at the new Lotus Elise 111R which I was thinking of buying, but damn! That Red M12 GTO 3R sitting there looking like a million dollars worth of supercar.. I must say it made the poor old (but still fantastic) Elise look like a Ford Fiesta in comparison...
It really not fair to Lotus to have a Noble in the same showroom. An Elise on it's own looks awesome (as they do in everyday 'clone' traffic), but against a Noble, well the gloss is a little dull !!!
The car has so much presence to be honest that I think you can get away with any colour combination. Problem with the M12 are that Photos never quite seem to do it justice. It's when you see them in the metal that it looks so right, and will get any petrol heads heat rate pumping....
Big bike riders seem to really 'dig' the Noble for some reason too.... Each time I drove the M12 GTO on test drives around the peak district, superbike and sportsbike rider would always give it a 'thumbs' up as I passed.
Hope this helps.

I've just "spec"ed mine so this is one that's off limits... Polynesian Metalic ( metalic Turquoise as on the Rover 220 Turbo Tomcat, with all black alcantara
( can't have leather coz it'll be in Spain a lot )Rear spoiler unpainted ( black carbon fibre )two small side windows & rear window with darkest black tint I can find. Not sure wether to go anthrasite or dark gold with the wheels.
Seeing Jousts yesterday I have to say the Indigo blue looks real sweet & and no-way does it look like car 27. However, I have to say that I think blue and silver have been used a bit much now & am looking for more imagination from future owners...just peed off that Lee Noble said no more 2-tones. Martin.
