Idling Speed

Hi Room

I tested a 3R at the weekend and found the idling speed quite low and car was prone to stalling unless you kept the revs up when moving off in first.It was idling around 400 - 500 RPM.What is the correct idling speed? Apart from that the car was perfect.

Mine idles at 650rpm rock-steady, although it sounds like 1200rpm! 400-500 sounds too low?!
