Looking at the picture of KX53 AGV on the Mole Valley web site(Customer news, Rockingham), it seems to have nearly double the ground clearance than usual. Is it an optical illusion or is there an easy way to improve clearance?

It looks like they have removed the front splitter from the car. Not a bad idea when you consider how much these bits of plastic can sometimes cost to replace. I can't think there are any downforce issues, but there are cosmetic issues. The front of the car looks naked!

The car without the splitter (it was removed by a so-called 'test driver' at the 'Ring) in the static pic is M400 GTO, our development car. KX53 AGV is a completely stock 3R with the same ground clearance as any other model. It's currently on long term loan to Steve Sutcliffe, the editor of Autocar.

Simon - I presume that'll be the same test driver who had the "gaffer tape" moment then???

What I'm interested to know was how fast the driver was going at the time! then again do any of you want to the change the suspension setup quite dramatically then go for a major blast to test it?!

Then that's the one I saw at the NEC and it looked quite normal there (if any Noble can be described as looking normal!) No way did it look to have as much clearance as appears to be the case in the photo, so I will put it down to camera angle!
