In addition to our own Noble Day in March (see last posting), the guys at Rockingham are running a track day of their own on Saturday January 24th on the National Circuit. The cost is £80.00 for one car and driver if you book before Jan 16th. All Noble owners are invited to attend.

Please call Felicity Webb on 01536 271 530 for more details.

Blimey, that sounds like good value - how much time do you get / where's the catch

It's open to all - and so at £80 I'd imagine you'll find a lot of "laxpower" lads there.....

Not booked yet as 24th Jan is Vicky's birthday... Still negotiating

Are you taking a factory car Stuart? If so, can she have a go? It will help the case for attendance

I'm not booking it for the reason that Joust pointed out. Without visibility of the attendees I'd prefer to keep my £80 and my car intact. Yes it's value for money but that also attracts a certain cliental and I don't think Rockingham are going to be selective about vehicle, competance or exprience on the day.

Goodlife,

Tempting though it is, neither of our press cars will be attending. They'll both be out on loan on that date.

Never heard it put like that, but I'll remember that most accurate description from now on.

Will the event be open for spectators? It will be nice to meet a few of the owners. My parents said they would attend the next meeting after seeing the video you put together from last time.

It's usually open to spectators, although there may be a fee involved, depends on what hospitality is being laid on normally! The booking form I received from them didn't mention spectators though, so you're probably best to check with them.

The circuit is excellent, I'm still not convinced about the boy racer contingent that may be there though. I suppose I could just ring Felicity up at Rockingham but that would be too easy wouldn't it! So for now, I'll save my pennies for another day.

Thanks for that.

I think that based on what you have said it would be an all together more enjoyable day if, 1) the factory were there like last time, and 2) We wont have to stare at Saxo's with 'NOS' stickers and Nova's with Webber twin 40's.

I think I'll hold on until the next 'official' Noble day.

A few of the factory "boys" will be there as almost certainly I will be.

Of course if we get enough cars there we can have a "noble only" session

It's only 80 sobs so I'm prepared to take the risk.

I think there are 4 or 5 Nobles now booked to attend. Latest news is that they have moved it from the "National" to the "International" circuit - so we get to play on the banking as well

If you haven't booked call Felicity Webb on the main Rockingham number (www.rockingham.co.uk)

To all that are going:

Felicity called Vicky (she who must be obeyed) today to say that they have moved to the international curcuit... because they now have seventy (yes, that's 70) cars registered.

Let's hope we still get a decent amount of track time, and the Maxers are kept in a different group.

Are you going Ashley? Did you want to meet prospective owners, or owners? You should be able to meet both. Justin and I as owners will be there, and I believe Stuart from the factory will be bringing a prospector.

Come and say hello to the Titanium 3R with 'GO' on the number plate.
