Popped down to the factory today to see my newly arrived car waiting for its turn to be prepped. What a mistake! I now know its SVA date, and waiting is going to be even more painful than previously!!!
I advise any prospective owners to NOT go and see their cars, it makes it so much worse, especially as it looks ALMOST complete.
Only kidding (sort of.)
Thanks to Bob for showing me round, intersting to hear of the Scottish footballer who only lasted 45 mins before crashing his.
There was also a lovely Titanium 3R model fitted with red calipers and 4 exhausts... anyone here?
Roll on December 15th...ish!

Hopefully getting mine in mid to late January, so a second Christmas, which is arguably even better! Then off to Hawaii in mid February while it has it's first service... oh it's a hard old life
Monza red with all-black leather interior. Anyone else got a red one?
(no 'ooh-eer-missus' jokes please)

91 (I think - can't remember for sure)
Steve- I didn't see it I'm afraid, but I wasn't there for very long at all, just to see my car...and whet my appetite!
There were a few being worked on, up on the hoists, it could well have been there.
Sorry!
PS. anyone wondering about their car's dates. Mine is R87 and SVA is booked for 10th Dec, delivery 13th-15thish, depending on tracker, armourfend fitting. The factory closes for Chrimbo on the 19th (or is it 15th?) for a fortnight. So R91 can't be far away (although possibly after the break)

AMG- when is yours due? I thought they were working through the seventies at the moment?
I might have seen it, there are several titanium ones being worked on. Are you excited yet?
Sam
These build numbers don't seem to follow-on - the factory told me that mine (R77) is due into the factory "early December" and delivery will be mid January!
