If you'd like to see the 3R on telly, here are a few dates:

Tonight (Monday), 5th Gear at 8.30(or is it 8.00?) - Tiff gives it a track test, and there are a few words from Lee, too...

14th Dec - Top Gear

19th Dec - Gadgets TV, Bravo (Sky) 8.00pm-ish (this will be repeated thru the w/end)

28th Dec - Top Gear again!

It should have been on TG last night, but it's now been bumped into the Christmas show on the 28/12.

Happy viewing

8:30.

From their website

Ultimate Shoot-Out.
Motoring magazine with Tiff Needell, Vicki Butler-Henderson and Adrian Simpson. Six of the finest performance cars are put to the test to reveal which is the fastest. Plus a look at the Stunt Show Spectacular in Paris.

Should be good! Does Lee give any tips on making tea whilst powersliding?

Funny isn't how people can never seem to know what they will put out! I've been in a similar situation myself waiting for my "5 seconds of fame" and it got moved from week to week despite me checking with the production team almost every day.

Anyone on here from TV land that can explain why as it's always facinated me!

If anyone watched 5th Gear last Monday expecting to see Tiff in the Noble, sorry. I was told that the car would feature, but in fact the piece has been put back to Monday 8th December. All the other stuff in my TV diary is (as far as I'm aware!) correct, though. This means that the 3R will have been seen by, I reckon, around 10 million people in the UK by the end of the month.

And for Londoners, we'll have two cars at MPH-03 at Earls Court between the 11th and 14th December. One of them will be a static display and the other will be in the Live Theatre hosted by Clarkson & Hammond from Top Gear.

Don't forget to buy Evo and Top Gear mag, too - we're in both this month.

Good stuff! Also saw the brief piece in Auto Express (Noble vs Jet) - another cracking 0-60 time (3.72).

The bugger of the TV thing was that;
a) I had to come home from the pub to watch 5th Gear, and
b) I could have watched Changing Rooms on the other side! Doh!

Could someone write a brief summary / short review of the Top Gear article so I know whether it's worth tracking down a copy? (I've already secured the Dec issue of Evo).

Much appreciated,

The Noble made an appearance on Gadgets TV last night, a week early! Didn't have time to record unfortunately and not sure if it will be repeated next week.

Nice to see the car on TV but the Doris doing the report came out with several inaccurate facts, which is beginning to annoy me with the reviews it is getting.

I have the Top Gear and the Gadgets and Stuff (and a lot of the others), captured via my Tivo and can drop them down (at SVHS quality) to the computer, Who can host the files they are quite large on first attempt (DVD quality) they come out at 500 and 170 meg. More suited to a CD for physical posting.

I'm sure either actech or Joust will be happy to put it on their websites (www.gto3.com and www.lotus-elise.org.uk respectively).
