Interior cabin noise?
Discussion
Hiya fellow noble lovers, I am just a few months away from being in a position to be able to purchase one of these fine Great British cars all be it at second level. But i have a query about interior cabin noise, and as the Noble is not mass produced do niggly irritations such as poor trim fitting and mysterious cabin noises and rattles appear. Feed back much appreciated.
Thanks lads and lasses.

Sam,
For the record, we've had the M12 on a dynamic test rig and we were told that our car had one of the most rigid structures the engineers had seen. Not only does this mean that annoying squeaks and rattles caused by body flex are kept to a minimum, it also has a very positive effect on the car's handling when cornering hard.
That aside, if you're a frequent visitor to PistonHeads, you'll know how highly existing Noble owners rate their cars' general level of build quality. No word of a lie here, I took a prospective, Porsche 996 Carrera 2-owning customer out on a demo drive the other day, and before we'd driven a mile, he commented on how much more supple and 'solid' the car felt compared to his Porsche. It's also just a bit quicker!
Hope this helps. If you need more reassurance, give me ring.

It is a hand built British sports car though - presumably you aren't expecting a Honda ownership experience?
As I said I've had more issues with the BMW than the Noble, and they are almost identically price. Draw your own conclusions....
Having hunted around inside for quite a while (looking for a route for a cable) it seems that almost all the interior plastics are completly bespoke, and seems very much to be of a quality and fit that doesn't seem to give many chances of squeaks. The dash - a source of so many squeaks - is very solidly stuck in, fits amazingly well (it was custom made for the car) and is made of a lovely soft plastic that wouldn't squeak even with a mouse on the top.
The steering colum is, as people know, a Ford item, and so will be of the same "mass market over engineered" quality, and finally the doors and seats are so "simple" in design they can't really give many opportunities to squeak or rattle as far as I can see.
