Just found the clear side repeater lenses I've been looking for.

Got them at a well known car accesssory shop (...ford.) at £17.99 including amber bulbs.

They even had lenses in a blue tint on display.

They come packaged up under "AutoArt" Clear and coloured side repeaters.

Cheers,
Ian.

Got exactly the same ones a little while back, but only got around to fitting them last Thurs, so they'd be on for Rockingham. Dead easy to fit - you just need to get a screwdriver blade behind the factory fit items as they don't come out too easily (OK if you use a cloth in between the screwdriver and the bodywork). I think the clear repeaters look much better than the "fried egg" originals. Now all I have to do is find some clear front indicators!

I've looked into it but as the undertray is flush with the sills there's no room - maybe the factory could come up with a "Max Muppet" upgrade package.

Mark - I think they're from a Fiesta (but maybe not current model). I asked at a Ford dealer if they did clear versions, they said they were only available as aftermarket - just look in "W@nkers Window" at your nearest Halfords.

I got some clear front indicators from caterham after seeing them on an R400 - haven't got round to fitting them so don't know if they are exactly the right part but they look it - were less than a tenner with the orange bulbs and shipping from the caterham parts department.

Cheers

It says on the box. Fiesta 3(94> Fiesta4 / Mondeo (93-96) / Ka. Wot no Noble?

Sorry Justin Mate, I don't think I qualify for Max Membership, I just forked out on a new set or 3R wheels and P Zero Corsa Tyres for Rockingham. Money well spent.

Now where did I put those fluffy dice ?

Cheers,
Ian.

Whats all the fuss. You can order clear lenses from the factory as an option.

Now what about clear rear light clusters.

Whats the feeling on how they would look ? ? ? ?

I think I'm right in saying that everybody wants them but nobody sells them!!

They're the standard factory-fit items. I took the car to a local specialist garage who stripped them off the car, re-painted them in the colour I specified, had laser-cut "Noble" decals made and then lacquered the whole lot before putting them back on the car. They weren't cheap to have done but the finish is superb.
