I dont want to cause any offence but dont you think noble equipment list is a bit short for the amount of money your paying for them

Ive had the fortune of taking one on track (my finances dont allow a purchase) and it was one of the most sorted cars ive ever driven.

A car like the Noble is most at home on track, where the lack of equiptment doesnt matter.

I know where you're coming from though... I testdrove an elise and felt that it wasn't worth 25k when i could buy a used chimaera and get much more.

Then i drove a noble m12 gto. and realised it was worth every penny. cant put my finger on it, might be the maniac performance you get for that sort of money combined with the handling and the sound. double the price of an elise but some how just worth it.

Car Freak, do you mean standard equipment or options - what else would you add to the options list?

Standard equipment I would add airbags carbon fibre interior and a boot

...Hmmm, I'd go ABS and Electric Windows as standard myself! :-)

depends why you're buying the car. People (generally) buy nobles because they're a hoot to drive. If you want gadgets, buy a BMW.

I'd go along with electric windows. More useful would be electric door mirror adjustment for passender side. I need one position for when driving and another position to help reverse back into narrow garage.

If the suggestion of a boot was not tongue-in-cheek, just exactly where might it go. Wouldnt a roof rack be better.

What about a tow bar?

Seriously, I think the whole point of the Noble is that it does not have all the variouos gimmicks and is pure driving pleasure - add them and you loose all the character.

Agree totally NobleM12 , thats the whole reason l bought the car, if l wanted all the toys would have bought a boring Porsche.

Most performance car manufacturers provide a 'stripped-out' option for the punters that want extra speed (less weight) and minimalist thrills. Take a look at the 360 Stradale and the new Lambo GT with the 'kin great wing on the back... Clarkson even says that the new Carrera has a basic interior.

Now consider that these cars are;

A) More powerful than their well-equipped siblings.
B) More expensive by a fair margin.

OK, admittedly, a Ferrari Stradale customer can decide that he doesn't like plastic windows and 'down grade' to a car with glass ones if he likes...

Would you rather have a Noble with heated electric cup holders and the performance of a Carrera2, or a Noble with windy-windows and a warp drive?

There are lots of sit-on-the-fence comfy sports cars out there, but there's only one car (at the moment) with the performance to truly muscle it with six-figure super cars. The Noble M12 GTO.
