Greeting from the US.... Last week I sold the '65 Superformance AC Cobra and ordered a Noble GTO-3R. This is with great hope that I will have better luck with the Noble than the 1973 Rover 2000 which required 2 donor cars. The car is estimated to arrive in December(Cinti. OH) and I will then transport to Indianapolis for the engine/ 6 speed transmission. I'd like to start driving road courses.
Any thoughts on engine upgrades?
Any gauge additions(ie. oil/shifter light)?
General comments?

Good move! The cobra is an ok car...but the Noble is what you really need! I'm state-side with you. Just curious where did you see the Noble or hear about it?

I believe the car has an oil temp guage, but I could be wrong. If not then that would be a wise upgrade. Don't know if there is much in the way of engine upgrades. I heard of a 385bhp upgrade in the UK so maybe you should call 1G Racing and ask them if they know anything about it.

How did you spec out the car?? colors??

If you want to hear about upgrades etc., and what the owners are doing with their cars etc., then go to www.nobleownersclub.net/ wher you will find a lot more on brake, gearboxes, and other setups

theforce: You can find the Noble ad in most car magazines(ie Road&Track) in the back. 1G racing(also the Cinti. Superformance) is the only distributer for the US. The car ordered is burgundy red w/ black leather interior.
buxton: Thanks for the sight.
jco-gto: thanks.....

A 1965 Superformance, eh? I had no idea when I bought my 2002 that Hi-Tech had such a long and illustrious history

Enjoy your M12!
