Latest 3R build numbers?

Does anyone know what the latest build number is coming out of the factory? Also, what's the build volume per month these days? Thanks!

Rob, to get the most accurate information on build numbers and weekly output, I would suggest speaking with Bob or Stuart at the factory. They are very helpful and honest.

Also that way, it will not wind anybody up who is waiting in the queue.

From a personal note, mine has been put back from August to October. I fully understand the reasons why, gearbox delay, further development etc, before Lee is fully happy to release the cars.

Note: As an example, when I ordered my 911 RS Touring(964) in September '90 I was informed delivery would September '91. Come the date, build number was confirmed, shipping details confirmed. Delivery?

A very sheepish phone call from Porsche GB. Sorry sir, the factory have to complete the production of the RS lightweight for homologation in Group 'N' GT, so your RS Touring is put back to March '92 delivery !!!!!

It duly arrived in March 1992. 18 months from the order.

R29 went into build yesterday, confirmed by HR Owen

Spoke to the factory on Monday of this week and they confirmed 27 / 28 and 29 this week. R62 seems like a long way off having originally been told May. Might be good for Christmas if I am lucky

JKB, so when do you espect R62 and has anyone given you a meanigful response (mine's R77 and I was thinking Jan-Feb now)?

I was told it would be in build the week beginning the 17th November but having been told May then July then this month it is getting further away and I can get no hard information. I was also originally told I was car number 20 then car number 62 ----- when did you put your deposit down ?

R27 is almost finished and should be at the dealers early next week. DEFINATELY - I saw the car at the factory today with my own eyes!
