Removing wing mirrors?

Right, stripping the car down for the respay, how do I get the second allan head bolt out that holds the wing mirror support.That is behind the adjusted for the mirror, in other words how does the adjuster come out?

Snap it off, put the bits in the bin, then get some aftermarket mirrors that stay where they're put
