Hi Chaps,
I have bought a new fuel pump for my 3R and it has different fittings on to standard, can anyone tell me what the gold coloured fitting is in the pic of the new pump as the old one does not have this? also the old pump is already a bosch part number 0580 254 910 is this already an uprated pump? Cheers guys.

Unscrew the gold coloured fitting and replace it with your original item from your current 3R pump, but use the new copper crush washers.
On the other end you can use a connection to the fuel pipe like this:

You will also need to upgrade the wiring to the pump.
