Gutted

Went out for an early run this morning and my joy was spoilt by me kurbing my rear nearside wheel, DOH.

Luckily I was only just rolling and the tyre was not touched. But it looks bloody horrible and my wheels have been untouched until now. So I'm bloody gutted.

If I remember rightly I think there is a firm near me that does refurb. How much should I be looking at?

About £50-£70 mate.
If it makes you feel any better I have been quoted £120 per wheel from Dymag for them to be done!!

I was quoted £1000+vat to refurb 4 TechoMags about 3 years. I decided against it.

What I should've done is get the wheels of it straight away after buying, replace with some cheapo wheels that look roughly the same and curb them to kingdom come.

BJV Engineering did some 3R wheels recently (£190 cash) for Chrome Black (or any other colour) but you do lose the bolts.

Dont worry... 3 days after buying my absolutelly mint car, my hand clipped off the sill when I was getting out and my cufflink put a huge gauge right down the sill... I was so pleased!

Got another battle scare today.

One of the 4 various passengers of the day has managed to scratch the left nearside sill, but not in the door sill but on the outside. Mind you 3 of them really struggled getting out after their blat!!!

Oh well, should be able to get most of the scratch out and will touch the wheel up until i get a chance to visit Lepson's.

Funny thing is, I only said to a friend yesterday that I have never scrapped one of the wheels in two years. Famous last words. Nob.

Anyway fella's looking forward to meeting up at the end of the month.

Probably cost 34p a thousand to make

Think with postage/tax etc they worked out at about 65p a pop. If I had known they were in demand i would have ordered more as its the postage that kills it.

I have about 20 spare.

These look great... but the scratch in question goes right down the sill on the outside of the car from the door to the floor and right through the paint.
