Cracked Manifold (that old chestnut)

Manifold will be coming off, welded and put back on.

If someone could be kind enough to answer the following:

Am I better off buying a new manifold (if so where (Noble?) and how much they go for)?

After searching for gasket part nos I found a thread which suggests leaving them off, is that true?

Was looking for the following part no's and best place to buy:
From T25 Turbo (Nissan 200SX S13 type)
2 x Turbo to elbow
2 x Turbo to manifold
1 x Manifold to Head

Manifold to head gasket stays on.
It's been said that if you leave the gasket from the turbo to the exhaust off, then it will not work loose, as the metal gasket vibrates causing the bolts to eventually work loose.
If you fit decent nuts, then this should not happen anyway, so fit all gaskets IMO.
If you are rewelding, get some stainless gussets welded in place between the exit pipes.
I've done this on mine and it's still OK after 10Kmiles.

"Gasket" search reveals one hit on this site.
Nobleparts doesn't list gasket numbers.

I'm searching for ST220 Manifold to Head gasket but no joy...

I found these for Turbo to manifold:

I put thew Nissan Gaskets on that PeterUK recomends in his thread. Look very good but circa £22 each. I think your garage in Taunton thought they were worth the money.

OEM quality compression gaskets, or ebay special shim steel... No brainer IMHO....

Thanks for your replies. I have bought the gaskets I need (I think).

Search for "Gasket" pulls back 1 result, search for "Gaskets" pulls back 2 different results - learn sumert new everyday...

Anyhows if they fit I'll update this post, Nobleparts & Wiki:
