Does anyone know what the CEL value for the standard cats and race cats from Roush are ?
Standard IIRC are still 200 cell cats(so pretty good) apart from they seem to have a habit of breaking internally and acting like corks.I think the roush ones are also 200cell, but could be 100cell.
The Noble ones can be replaced with off the shelf units, just welded in, Piper (who make the roush exhaust) sell them.
I know when I had a V8 Esprit their standard cats were 600 and fell to bits on a regular basis. Race cats were 200 (i.e. a big difference), but I know people who fitted 100 and failed the MOT. So, if standard and race are both 200 then is there much to be gained from changing from standard cats ? ( unless the ones on your car have fallen to bit internally that is ).

The main problem with the standard exhaust is the y pipe. Not the cats.Gassing Station | Noble | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
