Does anyone own a 3r with under 8000 miles on the clock?
Discussion
Thankyou for prompt replies!!!
No reason why looking for one with under 8000 miles, especially as i take the point that they dont like to be sat around in damp garages, but interested to find out whether there were any about and whether mileage seriously affected the pricing on nobles.
Missed out on Mr Noble's blue 3r which sold a little while ago so will continue to look!!
Thanks guys

mine has done under 9000 and is a 53 plate also
i nearly bought one that had under 2.5 k on it !
but do not think a low mileage will be a good buy because of the mileage
i suggest you go for a 6 speed box, full service history and an upgraded fuel pump - there are some bargains out there
consider an m400 if you can stretch a bit further
there are plenty that have had a few mods - mine has had m400 suspesnsion fitted an uprated box lsd and intercooler
Noble owners love to modify thier cars so don't be put off by a few mods

Yes, have looked through some old threads and seen some of the must do mods, so not concerned about that.
Budget can stretch to an m400 so will have to see what's about. 3r more for me I think as most of the time will be spent on the road.
Green Noble looks a fantastic spec but think it mite be abit too bold for me!!!

I can probably claim the least used Noble over the last year having travelled the mammoth distance of 760 miles....with 300 of them in one trip to Mira, and a good few more with the speedo pinned to the stop over 200mph. Glad I fixed that one!
that needs to get out more.
Hi Phil, sorry mate but I can beet that, only done 10 miles in the last 11 months, just have not had the time to enjoy, sad ain't it.martyn

you need shooting...

Ok, so my 3R's on a 53 plate with 4950 miles on the clock! Why buy a low mileage one? No reason really as it's the condition with any car is everything. Just so happens that as a result of it's meager dry miles, mine's like brand new! In my search for the right car I saw low mileage examples that were in a pitiful condition and high milers that had obviously been much better looked after - I was lucky to find one that ticked both boxes.
Yep, it needs driving more (it's only time that stops me using it more) but who cares, it's worth every penny, even if the sun only shines for 48hrs a year!
Soon we won't be able to own cars like this.....chip fat powered mopeds...it's the future...
