Hi, I am hoping to find an amenable ear! I am doing the above event (www.cannonballruneurope.co.uk) for charity (www.whizz.kidz.org.uk) in a new Noble M12 GTO R3 (6 speed with 385bhp) and am looking for sponsorship. I am hoping one of you enthusiasts out there will be in a position at you company (or know someone who is) that may have the authority to help with a cash sponsorship. CAR magazine have agreed to an 8-13 page feature on the car / event and are sending a journalist + photographer and a support car! Additionally we will be one of only 7 cars with in car cameras. If you could be interested (or know someone at your company who might be) please contact me at jkrogdahl@hotmail.com asap.

Regard - Jonathan

We are doing the PH-Sponsored Cannonball Run in a Noble GTO-3R. If anyone want's to sponsor us then we'll be welcoming any money as well

Yeah good one - your post is in really bad taste! Why not post your own topic?

In asking for sponsorship what's the deal, does all the money raised go to the charity or is it a case of paying for the trip first and the rest goes to the good cause?

Jonathan approached us some time ago, and we think it is a superb way to raise some money for a very worthy cause, Autocar have very kindly agreed to do a feature on this to raise the profile, and hopefully enable Jonathan to get more cash for the charity

Best of luck

I have worked with this charity in the past and am doing this event as a "solo" offering (i.e. they aren't supporting me with contacts, marketing, etc). So to answer your question! Yes the event will be paid for out of the money accumulated. Having said this however I am not asking for donations but rather sponsorship in exchange for advertising - CAR feature, video release, TV, etc. If you want to talk more about it please feel free to drop me an email and I can send you a full brief.
