Yep, like 'em but you'd better have a pass for your wheel company as you'll be back there often - if I'm viewing correctly, that rim finish is very short-term to the point that my wheel guys don't like to offer it on anything other than a show car.

Well the guy is local and has said if I ever need them re-polished that i can swing in by. It will be fine provided they get a regular coating of metal polish.

I had mine done in a similar colour scheme and I have now managed to obtain the false bolt head inserts so the wheels look better than new.

Nice job on the wheels Iain. Will you be putting the false studs back in or leaving them off?

The wheels weren't shot blasted so the studs remain in.

Mine were acid dipped hence why they needed sorting with new bolt inserts. Managed to get some direct from the factory in SA.

Just out of interest what sort of price does a refurb cost per wheel?

I have been talking to a wheel re-furb company and they told me to do a full re-furb they'll need to remove the studs first.

Would i need to buy new studs if they are removed or can i use the original ones after the wheel has been fixed?

I was quoted £68 + VAT per wheel for a full re-furb

had mine done by BJV Engineering, £230 cash for all to be fully refurbished. great job too

They dissolve so don't actually exist afterwards

I like the look of the studs round the wheel, its a shame they dissolve.
