I know I said I wouldn't be there but I might be either Sat Sun or both. If so I'll be on my own this time, Al's shopping in Birmingham.

Where are you lot staying on Saturday night?

We could only find one free hotel, Premier Lodge, we did try.

Give me a shout if you want to stay and I can book a room for you smile

With a bit of luck and a fair wind we could be home by 3 !

Still, getting up at 6.30 means the traffic will be light !

Hope the breakfast is good !

yep, it's probably not worth doing the half hour warm up, then stopping for lunch. We might do it if there's something specific to look at but we'll most likely be finishing the am test at 10.30 and then not going back oout until qualifying.

Oh Gord, I hope it wasn't cringingly embarrasing.

Anyway, I screwed up the start on race 2 with wheelspin and fluffed the gearchanges. I was thinking "oh sod it" as I let 10 cars go by. Some of this was down to cold tyres again but mainly the driver was at fault and I later realised whilst reviewing the video that I was simply tired. It then took me another lap or so before I actually woke up and started to get on with the job in hand! Still at least I didn't spin and was very happy with another 2nd place and another fastest lap.

My next race is Castle Combe on 5th May bank holiday Monday. Hoping to give do a short test on Saturday at Snetterton just to make sure it's all working properly after the "off" at Oulton Park.

www.nobleracecar.co.uk will have all the details.

i'm sure you could have won both races if you didn't have the misshap

Snetteron is one of my favorite circuits and it was great to see a noble there

Castle Combe is a bit far for me to travel to - I have driven it and its a bit twisty with plenty of right turns, best of luck !
