Rear Lights

Are the lights on the R3 from the Mondeo and if so which version. Also has anyone looked into replacing the rear lights with "White Lens".

Ive ordered white indicators on my R3.

Not seen a picture of the rear end of an R3... but assuming they're the same lights as the other variants, then yes, they are Mk1 Mondeo (saloon/hatch) tail lights.

You might have to try the "Max Power" type places for alternatives..

.. then they are MONDEO... from the Mk1 car made between 1993 and 1996 (ish).

And you cannot get white one for them for love nor money. The factory will get you white side repeaters, I've got a pair of clear fronts from caterham but haven't fitted them yet.

Lights are from Mondeo mk1 saloon, l have looked for lexus style clear everywhere with no success

Just curious, but is there any demand for the afterburner style units that are made for TVRs by Zertec???

Wouldnt be too hard - though costs would be pretty similar to the other units.

Here is a pic of the Sonata tailight that is being fitted to the US 3R...
Kind of nice..features two round LED arrays

Not sure how close a fit it is...I know they modified the mold a bit...
