No one really knows, there isn't really a test car. The version at teh motorshow was just a mockup.
As regards stiffness, i think the M12 drew upon the M10 which was a convertible, so it shouldn't be a problem. My only concern would be how they are going to deal with the safety issue, as the GTO has an integral roll cage..............
I'm also hoping that another 12 months of engine development will give a realiable 400bhp option for the car.

Yes I'm guessing a bit on delivery but was originally a year when I first enquired about April/May. Not too fussed but I'd like to have it for next summer. Was meant to go on a factory visit a couple of weeks ago to see the one and only GTC but this was cancelled as they had apparently taken it all to pieces to get the design right for the roof whatever form it will take. Regarding safety I'm assuming that there will be some chunky roll bars in the bumps behind each seat?
I've got number 7 (or is it 11 - can't remember) on order.
I was told at the motor show that tiffness is sorted by additional structuring under the skin, and roll over protection will be at the back, with the screen being part of the system ala elise etc.
It's always more risky not having a tin top at the end of the day, but I'm confident that Lee will have it all safe and sorted by the time it's ready - afterall he wants his customers to continue on buying!
June next year might OK depending on how many others are in front of you now and how Lee gets on with the 3R production backlog clearout, but he is aware that people will want them for summer next year and so I am sure will do his best to keep to that (and intomated as such last wed when I saw him.)
