So , Does anyone know what band our nobles will fit into ?

I've just looked on the v5c of my 2004 3R and the co2 value is blank,( i.e null )which I reckon is a number less than 101. Therefore total cost of tax disc = £0

Now can anyone find a flaw in my calculations !!

It would appear that all post-2001 cars are being re-banded. Instead of the current arrangement which is banded A-G, and where cars remain in the band they were originally assigned to, all cars will be rebanded A-M.

VED costs will be:

Sounds fine to me

i've just got my reminder through for road tax and 12 months comes to something like £189. How can this be right (not that i'm complaining), I'm sure my last car, which was a 2L cost more!?

Think we are in the 185 bracket currently so we should be £260-£290 I assume, or maybe im hopeful

The nob does not have a CO2 figure so it's taxed at the pre 2001 rate for cars over 1549cc rate, which is £185.

Does anyone know how to calculate from a CO2 % by volume figure to a grams per KM CO2 used?

I actually went to the DVLA office locally to get my 3R taxed as I had misplaced my logbook. On the replacement form I wrote down that it was a petrol car etc. Anyway, once they had put all the details in to the system they told me that the car had orginally been registered as a PLG and therefore a years tax would be £189 (or there abouts).

Apparently, the orginal information is all they are interested in...

Weird, I taxed mine Dec 2007 for a year and the cost was £180.00
