You're a lucky man. We all know it's the sensible choice but choose to ignore it.
Yes we like to stand out from the crowd in our Nobles but there is always that nagging
feeling that it is going to break. Engineering integrity built over millions of miles and many years
practice is something that just cannot be ignored. I would love to believe that every component in your car is "fit for purpose"and will last and last giving that feeling of confidence that we all know has not been achieved with our cars. May be that with the continued development of the M12/M400 range weak links could have been ironed out, but sadly, we've been short changed.
Having said that you only enjoy one life and Noble ownership is one thing that very few of us
will look back on and say "I regret that"

I have not regretted for one iota Noble ownership, but with racing, I now need complete reliability.
Having said that, the way I drive we will have to wait and see
I think it's a post 993 thing. The fact that everything before the 996 had the ability to spit you off into the nearest hedge gave the car character, as did the styling.
For me, the 996 and 997, with all their abilities, comes down to the fact that you know if the computer crashed it wouldn't be half the car it is. That just doesn't appeal to my senses and I cannot get emotionally involved with a computer (mainly because I use them all day!)
