Same journey as last year: ferry to Bilbao, two days hooning in the Pyrenees, to my mum's in Bordeuax, then to Le Mans in time for Wednesday's qualifying.

Camping in Houx.

First time last year, went with son in Noble and 3 of my mates who took 4 x 4. Crossing wednesday with Speedferries and based at one of said mate's place, 1hr south of the circuit. Returning tuesday and hoping for better weather than we got last year towards the end of the race.
You sure learn a lot from the visit: (i)managed to do Mulsanne at night (ii)visited the Austin Healey Owners Club exhibition - brilliant selection of exotics and semi classics (Ford Capri, etc).
Everywhere we went, the Noble drew admirers: Kids in the village coming round to take pictures, crowds at the exhibition, even French Customs going home!
I'll look out for other Nobility. Cheers

Club Motorsport is probably as civilised as camping gets...we had 3 girls with us last year with no complaints (well, none about the camping anyway )
