Is there an easy way to find out is the car in question has LSD?
Not really - apparently some have 'LSD' daubed on them. Best way to check is the documentation. Something that big should be in the owner's records.k7lsy said:
If it doesn't have one, is it possible to retro fit it?
Yes, at a cost. Mine cost around 2.6K, and that was using the labour-reducing method of taking the gearbox out sideways through a cut chassis member. Expect anything up to 4K for the engine out method.Just had one fitted and noticed the car understeers quite a bit compared to the open diff. Replaced because it broke, as do most of them at some point. Quaife LSD has a lifetime guarantee so they must be fairly confident of their product.
Has anyone known any LSD of any make to break on the Noble?
