Firstly, to those who have emailed or commented on why bother with OEM as opposed to ebay for my HIDs.

H7 bulbs have their filament orientated differently to the gas bulb in D2S HID bulbs. Also, the mirrors in the light units are optomised for each type of bulb. Rebased HID bulbs end up with the light source the incorrect distance from the mirror, causing glare to oncoming drivers.

Take a look at this short video. It's a Honda Integra. Two identical dip beam projectors (except each specifically designed for H7 and D2S), with one rebased bulb, and one genuine D2S. Notice the massive glare from one light. That's what oncoming drivers see. That's what i don't want!

Well, boxes of parts have started arriving. Just like Christmas smile

Hella 90mm projector dip beam units - for D2S HID bulbs, not H7. A bit longer than the H7 units..

And designed specifically for D2S bulbs.. Note the cut out for the earth return

Philips ballasts, waterproof connectors, weatherproof cases and Philips 4200K bulbs:

Now to design a wiring loom and some GRP work to my spare clam......
