I know this will sound peverse to anyone waiting for their 3R, but is it possible to postpone delivery for a few months?
Let me explain;

I am number R87 and was originally told delivery was expected in october, this was recently revised to november, and reading some of the posts here -I think I will be lucky to get it this year.

My problem is that I am abroad -in france- for six months at the start of next year, meaning that running in, insurance and any trouble shooting are going to be a nightmare. Maybe I am better off having it arrive at the start of next summer. -is this possible?

Any thoughts appreciated.
Thanks

Sam, I think this is possible, bearing in mind the high demand, it wouldn't hurt Noble at all (or the dealer - who I think gets some/most of his profit from the deposit/s anyway!). I was offered this option by MV - ie: "tell us to hold delivery until later if you like" but why not take "Le 12" to France and teach it some French manners?! :-)

Thanks for the reply Rob,
Believe me there is nothing I would like to do more, having spent quite a lot of time on the road in france, I think the noble would be in its element over there.
Its just the logistics which seem a little scary, and I have no idea how difficult it will be to insure a car like the noble abroad, for that length of time... not to mention the difficulty of rectifying any litle niggles...

s3am,

FYI, you will not be able to get insured for more than 3 months on a UK registration. After that you need to register it in France and I don't think it will be an easy task because you need to go through 'les mines' which is fairly expensive and very long (I have heard of people waiting nearly a year to get to the bottom of it !!).

Don't worry Sam,
I would be more than happy to go through this onerous (spelling ?) task on your behalf ;-)

Ah les mines, it looks like I never really looked into this properly... thanks for the replies anyway (I will keep it in mind Russ -I know I shouldn't complain! )

Perhaps postponement it is then, oh dear.
