Top gear tonight?

They seem to be testing the "new" GTO3 isnt the 3R the new noble or have I missed something?
I would have thought Noble would want the latest modle on there. IMO the 3R looks quite a bit better with the re styled lights.

Isnt there more horse power with the 3R or is it the same as the GTO3?

The documentation states both the 3 and 3R deliver 344bhp, but it has been mentioned on this forum that the 3R delivers 352bhp after its 1K service.

Agree that the lights on the 3R look better, but as a "3" driver I comfort myself with not needing to look at them when driving

The 3R has not been launched to the press yet. The car on Top Gear was plucked from the Showroom to feature at Top Gear's request.

AFAIK the official 3R launch to the Press is very soon. If you have not placed your order yet for the 3R, you better had soon. The queue will be even longer when the journos get their hands on it.

Well, I was disappointed - had popcorn ready and beer chilling all week, told friends to watch the mighty Noble and...

Hmmm, good result but no time given over to the the '3' ;-(

I too was disappointed with the very limited showing of the Noble last night. However, I was at Silverstone yesterday and spoke to Mr Clarkson himself in the Top Gear hospitality suite about the Noble. He said they had limited time with the Noble on the track but both he and the Stig reckoned with a little more practise they could have reached similar lap times to the Koenigsegg - not bad since the Noble costs six times less!
JC really does seem to like the Noble and believes it is one of the best cars around. When he found out my Noble was the 2.5 he did his impression of Darth Vadar. That's when I decided to head off to the bar...
