Apparently Top Gear tested 3ltr gto a week or 2 ago so it should be on top gear very shortly, apparently the lap times are very intersting.

I was there last Wednesday.. had a chat with JC and he explained that the Noble GTO-3 had just pulled off a 1.24! the only cars to have bettered this so far are the Koenigsegg and Pagini Zonda both did 1.23's and both costing well in excess of £250K

There was a very short clip shown yesterday with Patrick Stuart at the helm (he said it was too fast for him ).. but I'm not sure if or when the full test will be air'd, the last TG for this series is on next Sunday??

Well when you've only done warp 9 in a starship I'm not surprised the Noble is too much for him!

I was talking to Tony Dron at Goodwood yesterday, he drove the M12 up the hill climb on Friday and Saturday. He was behind the Koenigsegg CC in the Supercar run on Friday, by the halfway point he'd caught the Koenigsegg up and stuck to his rear for the rest of the climb. The German driver of the Koenigsegg wasn't impressed and refused to comment on the performance!

Bugger. The M12 pulled up at the start of the hill on Sunday so I didn't get to see it "full pelt". Not sure what happened, but it got back to the paddock after the end of the runs OK so it couldn't have been anything serious.

It must have been a sight to behold!

It hurtled past me on Friday and I overheard someone next to me say "not very noisy is it"!!!

I don't suppose it is after listening to some of the GT and F1 cars etc going up the hill, however you don't see many of them on the road! Anyway, I thought mine sounded damn fine accelerating through the Dartford tunnel on the way back home

The Marcos was very nice sound - apparently they took the cats out - but the best for me was the rally cars.

POP! BANG BANG BANG!

Oh... bring back anti-lag *sigh*

Can't agree more, the M12 sounds damn fine in the tunnel, even better when you're following one too!

Sure but, dare I suggest, not as good as a TVR in a tunnel?!

OK, I'll take your TVR in a tunnel and raise it to a Ferrari 550 with a Tubi in a tunnel!

I'll take your 550 with a Tubi and raise you a Ducati 998R at 8,000rpm...

Blimey, we are digressing here (must be the heat!) - how about one of those bikes without silencers on Friday at Goodwood - bloody loud or what! OK, outside now - where's this tunnel and what time :-)

Yeah the bikes were so damn loud. But nothing would beat the BRM V16 in a tunnel!!

Yeah, I was down at Mole Valley Chessington last Thursday, and I was told that it put in an amazing time, and they literally had to drag the stig out of the car, because he liked it so much. He was in it all day. I was watching last night hoping for it to come on.
It would be great to see just how fast it could go in the dry.
I have to say, the Noble is amazing. I went out in it with Terry, and he wasn't even pushing it or revving it hard, and it was without doubt the fastest thing I have been in. What an amazing car, the steering is go-kart like.

When did they show Patrick Stewart saying the Noble was too fast? I watched it, but missed it. What is it before or after in the program? Not quereing whether it happened or not, just interested to know where it was.
