I'm sure this has been done to death in the past, so please excuse me if I'm going over old ground.

The article in Autocar last week mentioned a couple of different power figures for the Noble; 380 bhp??? The listing at the back of the mag (and in all other publications that I've seen) shows around 340 bhp.

What's the deal?

Met Simon from Noble on Saturday.

He says that the standard 3R will be 352bhp, not 340bhp (this after running-in).

A power upgrade to 385bhp will be available (as fitted to now damaged test car) but release date and price for upgrade have yet to be announced.

Cheers,

Mark

I can't believe it. For god sake! Here's little old me, car No. 26, spent oooddddlles of money getting the dam thing upgraded to 340bhp to keep up with these dam new fangled 3 litre jobbies, and now they start giving away 12bhp for free!

Don't they know who built their company? Why can't I have twelve horses for free? Bloddy hell, even these standard newbies will have more go goes than me

... an entirely understandable retort Justin! The only consolation is that you are enjoying your power NOW!!!

At least you can comfort yourself in the knowledge that by the time the GTC arrives you'll be able to have monstrous engine power thanks to all the development mules (aka GTO 3's) that are out there

Good point

And given I'll have at least 20kg over all those 3s I 'spose that's all right then.

Autocar are quoting 3.7s for their 380bhp GTO3.
