Rear Hub Nuts

Just thought I should let you know that i have just upgraded the hub nuts to the Porsche Boxter ones.

Dont buy them from the main stealers as the Porscheshop does them for £14 all in. Bit of a bargain!

Not wanting to do Porscheshop out of business

I bought two hub nuts last month from the Mid sussex porsche for 7 quid something including VAT.

so reasonable, I felt helping myself to a complimentary coffee would be taking the p*ss...

My near side came loose and I ordered 2 porsche ones, but they only sent 1 (and charged for 1) so I've sorted that. Just haven't got round to the other one. the car is almost 5yrs old and it hasn't come loose yet!

The offside on mine was bstard tight, whilst the neaside was finger tight. I think the thread matches the rotation hence why they don't work loose.

The porsche ones make the originals look a bit flimsy, the weight saving in your setup must account for your faster times on the car limits day....

my local porsche dealer wanted £20 but they are robbing gits (they wanted £800 for a glovebox lid as well).

Cant see why anyone wouldn't do this upgrade, as a wheel coming off could ruin your day a bit.

You get plenty of warning...the long brake pedal is usually enough for most people to slow down

My sign that one came loose was a rubbing sound that got worse on a right or left turn (can't remember(. Thought it was wheel bearing so took wheel off to find Nut loose.

Nice cheap fix
