Does anyone fancy trading their black wheels for my silver wheels.
I've been thinking about getting my wheels colour converted, but thought it might be worth seeing if anyone fancied a swap or (swapish
) before going further. My 3R is black, and the total black look is pretty appealing at this stage...

AFAIK, the standard M400 "black" wheels are actually a dark gray (anthracite) and not a true black, so they may not be what you're looking for. May be best to try fitting one up to compare to you body color before you buy/trade. no worries mate, a few months back i was looking at a company who would repair some of the dents in my rims and came across this company -
http://www.wickedwheels.co.uk/
i haven't used them so cant give any feedback. Has anyone out there used Wicked Wheels before?

Yes, OK for dinks especially via their roadside van but nothing special - sorry WW but don't bother IMHO.http://www.wickedwheels.co.uk/

Mr Noble. Ha. Haven't heard that one before.
SO, the next release is a limited run CD/vinyl of a song called Deathcar, so it's at least somewhat relevant
. Perhaps Mr Noble could transmute his astonishing wit into a new interest in hard rock music, who knows. http://www.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/simpleSearch.do?searchUID=&pGroupID=-1&adultFlag=false&simpleSearchString=deathcar&primaryID=-1&btnSubmitSearch.x=0&btnSubmitSearch.y=0
Anyway, Do you think re-painting the wheels to black will harm re-sale val. at all? Also, has anyone ever managed this conversion and been really happy with the results? I can't seem to find the older topics on wheel re-furb etc.
p.s.
CTO3, that, in my opinion looks incredible, and definitely the look I'm after.

Vinyldisc sounds the nuts!! I'll have to buy another set of 1210's
Dan, do you want me to e-mail you my address so you can post me a signed copy of the single/albumn. Then i'll do you a review on here.
Greg
Greg, I got the first batch back from the label a few days ago, and it is actually quite a cool format... AND it actually works, which frankly amazes me... I remember Carcass bringing out a brain shaped CD that played in 0.01% of all CD players out there... haha. It's pretty cool to be releasing the very first one of these, and for it to be A. A hard rock song, and B. Loosely to do with M12's

Greg
which is nice for me.back on topic though, my current wheels have the usual water 'spot' and i think i'm definitely in favour of a re-vamp... now just to find someone to do it...

You'll never get those plastic bolts sorted. I'd just buy another set of wheels, and get them in black. Not that expensive in the scheme of things...SO, the next release is a limited run CD/vinyl of a song called Deathcar, so it's at least somewhat relevant

p.s. Greg won't buy your CD, he just gets it all on bittorrent

p.p.s. I wouldn't worry about resale if the job is done well.

Personally i think the whole black look is too much on a black car.
Black with polished rim would break up all the black but be a bugger to keep shiney. Liked the shadow chromed coloured 3R wheels shown off on here, i know that looks so different in so many lights as i had some alloys done myself in that.
