Living with a M12 as a daily driver

Does anyone use there Noble on a daily bases - driving to work and back, short trip to the shops / gym, etc. . .

Just wondering how it is to live with daily and any problems that arise with doing so . . .

I had a test drive a couple of weeks ago and i have to get one but wont be in the position to have one as a second car for at least another 18months . . dont think i can wait that long . . . .

I used to use mine every day...but then I was a professional loafer in Spain Have just bought an H-reg Pug 205 with 6 months Tax and MoT for £150 to get to work...got to be within anyone's budget?

As someone who NEEDED a NOBLE i decided to get the work car sorted first a lovely red (with bits of brown in places) rover 200 diesel 40 to 45 mpg, leave it anywhere, use it for tip runs and shopping. 300 of my hard earned english pounds. If you can afford a NOBLE you can afford the work car! Makes driving the weekend car even better!

I've got a Mazda Bongo Friendee for those work/practical/leave anywhere moments and the Noble for sun/weekends/blast times

Agree,

I have a K reg nissan primera (Auto) that was given to me from my mum (full of dents LOL). 105K and will still do another 100K.

It is so tempting to get the Noble out in the week though.

I have a T plated Mondeo TD with over 100k on the clock for work. It's a dog but keeps on going for peanuts.

Then I have the Noble for the weekends. Well that was the plan!! I'm taking it to work tomorrow as I can't stop using it

Yes you can use it every day, no it's not a very practicle car to go shopping in.
Short trips could be a tad tedious as you should really warm the engine thoroughly before driving!

It's okay in the short term, but when the honeymoon period is over you'll need something else. They can be temperamental and the running costs are high IME. The 2002 2.5 I had cost me about 75p a mile in petrol, repairs and maintenance over 12 months and 12,000 miles.

I drive a focus everday and , as above , you can see a theme developing here . buy something else cheap for all the boring trips , shopping , motorways , snow and horribly rainy days , then save the car for special days and trips (but you may find yourself inventing a lot of "reasons" why a trip is special though ! )

Just bought an M400, use it everyday, commuting , shopping, etc, with no problems. I don't do mega miles tho. It is expensive to run day to day on fuel alone.

I am planning on a buying a banger for days when the weather is sh*t.

Just had a shty time with my dad's funeral yesterday ...going to take the Noble out in an hour or so in order to cheer myself up when visiting my mum . The car is one of only a few that can do that for you .

Well the Noble certainly brightened up my day at work. Who needs coffee in the morning when you have the Noble to wake you up!!

I loved every bloody second of it. It never fails to impress and certainly feels quick after not driving it for a few days.

M400 is for weekends and special events.
