M12 Engine Overheat

Unraced but well driven, running hot to max - 2nd service engineers perplexed - appears not thermostat,sniffer in water shows no carb.monoxide, presure test on header tank ok - any helpful comment greatly appreciated. Cheers, Nutcracker (Red M12 in Devon)

A couple of owners on the owners club forum have had overheating from cold spots/air pockets within the radiator.

Thanks, goodlife - copied relevant bits over to Williams in Bristol who seem currently bemused - not so me, driving their runabout Suzuki bus meanwhile!
