Cockpit Turn Indicator Light not as bright as others
Discussion
Hello everybody,
I've had my GTO-3 for just over a week now and enjoyed every minute. I'm puzzled as to why the Turn Indicator warning light on the console does not glow as bright as all the others (assuming all lamps are the same wattage). Can anyone tell me if this is correct?
Thanks in advance,
Graeme

Drive at night on main beam and you'll find youself sticking something over that blue light.
Far too bright on my car.
Yes and mine... and yet the indicator is too dim?Far too bright on my car.
You can actually pull the plastic screens out and get to the bulbs. You'll need a suction pad of some type. I had blu-tac over the high beam one to lower the brightness and when I pulled it off, the blue screen came out and I could have got the bulb out. Also popped it back in again with no worries.

(I found simply going over the blue HB one with a black marker pen lowered its brightness enough.)

A wattage change may help but I think that changing the bulbs is a PITA.

Hello everybody,
Sorry for not replying sooner but I've been 'off comms' for a few days. Thanks for all your replies and it's good to know it's not just my car that has this 'problem'. It seems an odd bit of design that should be the cause of this. Does anybody know the correct way of removing the facia that has the turbo gauge & the indicator lights?
Cheers,
Graeme
