I've noticed my boost pressure is really inconsistant depending on revs/load etc, sometimes it only gets 0.4bar and slowly adjusts to 0.6bar. Everythings OK with the car so I'm wondering if it's a mapping issue? Anyway time has come to sort it out as it does my head in, I'm disconnecting the ECU controlled valve and running the turbos mechanically up to a 0.65bar peak figure and see how it goes. I'll let you all know how things are in the next few days, hopefully sorted!

its not uncommon to get different boost under differnt loads and gears

check it in 4th gear full throttle and roll on from say 2000 rpm

your solenoid may be faulty - or one or both of your actuator springs may have gone soft

a tweak to the map may sort it
