Z is for Zonda!

Back in February I posted that I had met a chap at a petrol station who said he had a Zonda F on order. Well R4MON and I went to have a look on Sunday...

What a car!!! The pics don’t do it justice really - it is a truly beautiful car in the flesh. The design details are carried right through the car from tip to toe and under the clams. Everything is carbon, even the dust covers on the back of the hubs. The engine sounds (F1-ish) incredible - NA V12 AMG 7.3 Engine with clubsport pack is 650bhp at 6,200 rpm, with torque peaking at 576lbft at 4,000 rpm. The car weighs in at 1,230 kilos.

He also has a Carrera GT in the garage when he fancies something a bit more focussed. Also very nice – understated in comparison but a fantastic drivers car - pure racer

A lucky man!!!

Obviously out classed – but at 10% of the cost I think the Noble’s hanging in there

I ran out of time but R4MON went for spin. I called him to see how it was - he answered the phone with "orgasmic"

The red doesn't really show well in photos but it's quite a deep iridescent red and the lower half of the car is clear gel coat carbon - looks amazing. I am sure he will join us for one or two PH activities at some point

i saw a white CS Zonda at Hudsons of London at about 600k IIRC. God it was so gorgeous. Love to have been taken out in one. What a great owner to want to show off to a pair of NOBS hehe
