Anybody know anything about this car?

I'm seriously considering putting in a bid for this - it's up for auction tomorrow. Anybody know anything about it, and what exactly happened to it?

A mate of mine rang HR owen to ask what the estimated repair was and was told "well in excess of £20k", make of that what you will.

I went down to have a look at it. Whoever dinged it managed to do an excellent job front and back !

The inside is still pristine, the engine looks intact and all the wheels are undamaged. Driver side is largely unscathed, however when i opened the passenger side door it fell out due to having come off it's hinges.

Take out the interior and make it into possibly the coolest Playstation platform. Replace the steering wheel with one of those you can buy in PC World...

It looks like a 2.5 litre model - also there are some parts missing - fans from the radiator, stereo... Judging by the damage to the rear end there could well be some damage to the engine / gearbox I would not touch with a large bowl used for moving bardges...

It must be their FIRST demo model then as I saw a less damaged one in their compound a few weeks ago! Must be more boy-racers around there than anywhere else?! :-)

Welcome to the world of Nobles Seb. Might be a while before you are on the road though! Do take pictures as you rebuild and post them for all to see.

As an ex-demo I imagine the dealer took the parts off it to keep as spares. Give HROwen a call to see if they still have them.
