Gearbox Oil HELP

Hi all, could someone please help.

I have just had the 3rd gear syncro on my 5 speed MTX Box changed by a local gearbox specialist.

In the manual it says to use Spirax ASX 75/90 oil. the garage has said they could not see a problem using standard MTX oil, could anyone confirm?

as shell have said delivery will take a week and can only be purchased in 20 Litres.

Works well so far. Good quality and same rating as the shell. Also they deliver next day and have it in stock.
Use them for all my oils, top blokes.
