Right guys, i have spoken to Wayne at Pro Alloy and got a list of discount prices for us.
1. Alloy double core intercooler kit (The Roush one!) - £695.00*
2. Alloy water header tank (Same as Adrian's)- £195.00*
3. Alloy breather (Similar to Adrian’s or Noblemods) - £140.00*
4. Alloy intake/boost pipes (Will need to be done on the car) - £490.00
For a group buy they can offer the following deal:
Items marked with * , quantity 2-5 = 15%discount
6+ = 20% discount.
The above prices exclude vat.
The intercooler/intake pipe work can not be discounted as they will need to be done on the car at Pro Alloy and the majority of the cost is labour.
If the pipework is to be done at Pro Alloy , they will offer free fitting on the intercooler kit.
They require 3 weeks notice for pipework.

You might want to know that when we fitted the hard intake pipes the power went up by 10bhp (did back to back dyno runs)this shows how bad the springy black stuff is, and they look good.
Also every Noble I have see has holes in the intake pipe where it joins the front turbo.

I got fed up with the noisey dump valve so I modified it to internal, the pipes go back into the inlets, the theory is that when you lift off the dumped pressure is fed back into the turbo's and spins them up quicker. Now you get that Darth Vader sound again from the waistgates, I prefer it.Regards

W.T.F. How the hell does that intercooler flow enough air?
That intake plenum looks way too steep an angle to flow optimum volume.
Has anyone done any flow/temperature drop comparisons with other designs?

Same veiw as some other people...see the rant on noblemods..That intake plenum looks way too steep an angle to flow optimum volume.

No independent testing has been done, it does perform better on the big bhp cars compared to the FP intercooler, tested by roush (though not sure i would call that independant, or back to back.)
I think the later intercoolers are now slightly different also your only flowing half the air as it's a double cooler. In the data-logging we took the FP/pace cooler off and put this one on and the power increased by 20bhp. All the stuff on my car are oneoffs/prototypes, I end up paying twice as much as you lot for these bit's and the manufacturers then get the opportunity to make them better and they dont give me the MKII stuff. I should really start moaning.

Gotcha, so half the air in front and half the air behind so if the suface area is roughly double of standard there will be less pressure differential anyway. so what's lost in the design is made up for in surface area.Edited by Adrian W on Thursday 13th September 07:37
