has anyone used the shell helix ultra racing 10w 60 in the noble or is 0w30 the best to go for? I don't do any track days.

If memory servers correctly, Shell Helix Ultra is/was actually the oil Lee recommended be used in the Nobles and we use it in all of our upgraded Noble engines.

From the FAQ on the Noble Wiki:
Oil- Factory recommends Shell Helix Ultra 5W/40 Fully synthetic

Trevor - I assume this is the oil you use. It's certainly what's in mine.

The original post refers to Shell Helix Ultra Racing 10W/60. It appears that Shell do
Helix Ultra 5W/40 and
Helix Racing 10W/60 as well as a few other racing variants:

AFAIK, most people use the Ultra 5W/40

Cheers,

Conrad.
