vibrating door mirrors

was browsing through the buid manual and spotted a neat little fix for vibrating doors mirrors.

basically remove glass, cover srung arm which presses on back of glass with pvc electrical tape and re-assemble.

glas can be removed by carefully prising glas side ways in the housing towards the door and then pulling forward.

the manual shows more detail and loads of pictures but then again it was written to americans so i would need to

just thought it was a usefull tip

i spose, except i never really saw the point of electric mirrors. once set and assuming they stay set there is never a need to move them again.

mind you i used to say there was no need for a stereo with a remote control until i got a noble

I find electric really handy for parking, i am forever moving the passenger side to get a better view, and i like to set the mirrors differently for motorway use. Agree its hardly essential tho but i would like the feature
