I would like to go on record to say thanks to the factory today for their letter informing me of progress on the new car. This was my only gripe and its now sorted.

Thank you Peter Boutwood.

Mandy said that only those who have bought something through the factory in the last 12 months get flagged up on the mail out system. That could be why you (and I ) never got any of the mail.

I need to order a washer or something. hehe

Call Mandy and ask if you're concerned.

Rob,

I've had no contact other than the letter, therefore no embargo. Whilst wishing the contents to remain confidential (because it was addressed 'Dear Chris') coolcoolcool, there is nothing specific about the the new car. However he does say "..we are absolutely dedicated to making the best possible car to carry the name of Noble forward.."

Deadlines are not an issue. It'll be ready when they are ready. This is the gist of it.

I think this keeps things simmering nicely!

Chris.

Thanks Chris, I think the next Noble "product" will be blinding but I still think Noble's handling of the PR potential is piss-poor. No wonder Micknall left!

As I've said before Rob, I think the latter part of the M15 saga was the piss poor part. The M15 was pressed out without being what the car was.

The new people now have to live with that, and have decided not to say anything on the specifics. However, a small wander over to the Noble website will show you a good stream of "news" now coming out as things firm up.

Finally, as a prospective owner of the M15 who had one of the very first M12s, I'd rather the whole world didn't know about every detail of the car in advance. One of the special things for me was that people didn't know what the car is. With Noble's aspirations in the <100 car per year bracket initally, that exculsivity is very important to me.
